GRADE POINT AVERAGE

All grades are compiled and converted into an average for each semester, which is the SGPA, and this is done using the UGC recommended 10-point scale. Students may track their progress at the end of each semester using the SGPA, which aggregates the assessment of each course, against credit hours and with participation or attendance.

The CGPA or the cumulative grade point average records progression over the year and across the years. The grade point average is determined by dividing the total number of points achieved by the total number of credits attempted.
