Admissions to both its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes under Bengaluru Central University are closed for the Academic year 2018-19.
Further to directions from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Government of Karnataka, Srishti being located in the geographical jurisdiction of Yelahanka comes under the newly formed Bengaluru Central University, a University carved out of the erstwhile Bangalore University post its trifurcation by the Government of Karnataka. All students who enrol in Srishti for academic programs in 2018 will get their degrees awarded by Bangalore Central University.
The Bengaluru Central University has been established through an Act enacted by Karnataka Legislature and born out of the trifurcation of Bangalore University. With its headquarters located at the famous Central College Campus, Bengaluru Central University has territorial jurisdiction comprising of 13 assembly constituencies of Bengaluru urban district and has 239 affiliated colleges and more than one lakh students under its purview.
