ARCO, Madrid which is one of the most important international art fairs, celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2006 with Austria as its special guest country. "Austria at ARCO 06" was the Ars Electronica Center’s collaboration with MediaLab Madrid and they staged the "Digital Transit" exhibition that ran from February 8 - April 2, 2006 at the Centro Cultural Conde Duque. As part of that, the Ars Electroncia center showcased some of the best works from their previous festivals. One of the Srishti exhibits from Ars Electronica 05 festival "The Lowlands Project" by Vaibhav Bhawsar was shown at the Digital Transit exhibition in ARCO 2006.
