Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology

Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology was established in the year 1996 by the Ujwal Trust Bangalore with a focus on providing an innovative and dynamic curriculum that will prepare students for careers in development or industry. Entrepreneurship and business skills are integrated with history, humanities and literature in ways that foster creativity and maximize individual potential to encourage participation, interaction and dialogue among students and faculty. A multi-disciplinary approach helps promote self-initiated learning and independent thinking, expands perceptual perspectives and builds a vocabulary of aesthetics. Student interaction with design studios, showrooms, production and distribution centers, community projects, retail establishments and industry leaders makes for a creative bridge between Srishti and the world.

Our faculty is experienced in industry, highly regarded by academia and many of them are practicing professionals. In order to meet the growing needs of our students and contemporary and dynamic curriculum, we invite professionals with specific expertise from overseas. At any point in time, Srishti invites and hosts experts and professionals as visitors, artists-in-residence and teaching faculty. This gives them an opportunity to get a better picture of our current activities and educational programs.
