The Foa flux artists, faculty and students together have created a how to booklet for collaborative work in society called ‘Art in Action: Why Art? For Whom?’
Art in Action is based on research on art in global contexts. It focuses on a key dimension in contemporary art; art in social transformation processes. Art has become an essential driver for change processes linked to particular problem situations and daily life contexts. Our guiding questions are: What are the criteria and premises of these discourse? Who defines them? Which subjects are included, which excluded? What are the differences between the various phenomena and their reference systems?
