The Global Art Studio exhibited interactive performance and video provocations within the Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016 at Mill Hall.
Do the simplest ideas generate the most exchange? This project is about creating and sharing provocations with public audiences in India and UK to build a virtual Global Art Studio and inspire meaningful global exchange. Each short provocation invites a creative response from the public, which is then shared on social media. Students have drawn on their own practice and locality (Bangalore and Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016) to devise these public invitations. The students from Srishti and Central Saint Martins’s, London at Tate have responded to each other’s provocations that are on display.
