Inhye Lee

Project : Visualizing The Invisible

Inhye is a Brooklyn-based interactive artist who uses moving images and sounds to create interactive installations. Her works have been exhibited at venues including IEEE Vis Arts Program, World Maker Faire, Korean Cultural Service NY, Dumbo Arts Festival, Currents New Media Festival, Museum of Television & Radio (USA), Sang Sang Madang (Korea), Telecom Italia Future Center (Italy), Art Paris (France) and Scope Basel (Switzerland). A recipient of Artist in Gallery Prize (Galerie Charlot) at the 8th Arte Laguna Prize, Lee specializes in making playable objects and installations with moving images, sound and interactivity. Through her work, she intends to re-create the mesmerizing moment that we all had as kids when focused on playing, transforming ordinary surroundings into a playground of imagination. Currently, she is interested in understanding and utilizing data from nature.
